Workers Rights Watch foster collaborative dialogue between workers and actors who affect and those affected by their work through complementary roles that exist between non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders.
They will provide capacity development activities to help foster and strengthen women workers across the flower sectors; Advocacy and awareness among the women to prevent, mitigate, and seek remedy; Support farms’ adoption of a gendered approach through the development of practical tools for social and business practices and work with the growers in embedding their policies into management systems as well as reviewing them to be gender responsive. They will do this through training the women on gender equality, gender-based violence, sexual harassment and investigation skills, menstrual hygine and reproductive health amongest women workers, understanding basic kenyan laws like marriage laws and exchange programs to share exprience and lessons learnt.
