Chapter for Empowerment and Rights Uganda (CERU) empowers women and girls in all their diversities by improving access to health, justice, and socio-economic opportunities through gender-responsive advocacy, survivor-centered services and multi-sectoral partnerships.
They will foster sustainable coffee cultivation by training women in eco-friendly farming practices, and financial management and improving coffee supply chains, while promoting biodiversity through intercropping. Through partnerships with government, civil society, and private sector actors, CERU will provide beneficiary-led services, establish savings and lending communities, and drive social change via forums and environmental programs. Additionally, CERU will share knowledge globally through learning briefs and publications to amplify impact.
